Tom Cochrane – first saw him in 1978 at a sound check while Red Rider was opening for April Wine. My friend and I snuck in – Tom was on the pedal steel guitar and the sound in the cavernous wooden Sydney Forum was amazing. Have not heard anything as bone chilling since.

Tom is under valued as a lyricist and his “Sinking Like a Sunset” is as good a summary of marriage as one would ever hope.

Toronto’s Royal Canadian Yacht Club is a terrific location for a sublime summer wedding. Close to downtown, secluded and with the boat ride across the lake for your guests – this venue is a sure winner.

Here is a lovely bride and her lucky groom – she is a close friend of a previous client. And the skylight of the grand dining room cast her in a radiant glow – perfect.

Toronto’s Hotel Germain was the venue for a very intimate wedding featuring two of the brightest and most truly in love people I have met in quite a while. Every aspect of the ceremony, vows and decor was chosen with utmost care for the traditions of each other’s family. The entire wedding was eight people, the celebrant and yours truly. The bride fussed over her vows and the groom was a model of elegance.

Nick Cave provided the music. Very nice.
